Henrico Police are investigating after a car was stolen outside a business.

Almost two weeks ago, a car theft occurred outside a business on Dickens Road. The incident took place on March 22 around 10 a.m. when a 2018 Silver Infiniti Q50 was reported stolen by the owner. The owner had parked the vehicle outside the business at around 9 p.m. the previous night.

According to surveillance footage from the business, an unidentified individual approached the vehicle, smashed the rear passenger-side window, and climbed inside. During the theft, a blue Dodge Challenger entered the parking lot, with the suspect still inside the Infiniti. About 10 minutes later, the thief drove away in the Infiniti, followed closely by the driver of the Dodge.

The police are currently investigating this case and are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed or has any knowledge about it. Anyone who may have information about the suspect or vehicles involved is urged to contact Det. M Valentine at (804) 501-5248 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. It is important that anyone with relevant information come forward to help solve this crime and ensure justice is served for those affected by it.
