Alabama secures commitment from 2025 3-star interior offensive lineman Mal Waldrep

Recently, the Alabama Crimson Tide experienced a positive development on the recruiting front with the commitment of Mal Waldrep, a three-star interior offensive lineman from the class of 2025. Waldrep is the second offensive lineman to commit to Alabama in as many days, following in the footsteps of four-star Michael Carroll.

After an official visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend, Waldrep made the decision to commit to Alabama over other programs such as Auburn, Clemson, and Tennessee. It is likely that he will play the guard position at the college level, as that is the position that the Alabama coaching staff has recruited him to play. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 320 pounds, Waldrep currently plays for Central-Phenix City High School in Alabama.

With Alabama facing potential loss of both Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts to the 2025 NFL draft, Waldrep’s commitment will help strengthen Alabama‚Äôs offensive line haul for the 2025 recruiting class. Roll Tide Wire will continue to provide updates on the Alabama football program and its recruiting efforts.
