Chicago Police Alert North Side Businesses of Recent String of Arm Robberies

The Bureau of Detectives — Area 3 is urging businesses in the 17th, 19th and 20th districts to be cautious after four robberies occurred in the area. In each incident, thieves entered the business with handguns and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing the scene.

Police have described the suspects as two Black men between 20 and 30 years old. One was wearing a black puffy coat, a black hat with a Nike symbol, and black jeans, while the other man was wearing a puffy coat with the Guess emblem on the sleeve, a black ski mask, and black pants. The weapon used in all incidents was a silver handgun.
