A burglar is being sought by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office after an ATM was stolen from a business in Boyce. On February 12, at approximately 4:55 a.m., a man approached the business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and allegedly rammed the front doors to gain entry.
According to RPSO, the suspect then took the ATM machine and placed it into a black Ford Fusion before leaving the building about six minutes later. The vehicle should have heavy damage to the rear and is missing side mirrors, as well as its rear bumper and several undercarriage items.
The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. RPSO is currently investigating the incident and asking for any information related to it from members of the public.
