Should Apple develop a stylus for use on the Vision Pro viewer?

Apple is currently developing a new stylus that will be compatible with the Apple Vision Pro viewer, which was launched in February in the United States. This stylus will have support for the operating system visionOS, which is the foundation of the Vision Pro viewer. The stylus has already undergone internal testing.

Apple’s venture into mixed reality (MR) was announced in June of the previous year and aimed to revolutionize how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment with the Vision Pro viewer. The company aimed to create the most advanced consumer electronics device ever.

To enhance the capabilities of the Vision Pro viewer, Apple has developed a new version of its stylus that will be compatible with various iPad models (Pro, Air, mini). This new stylus will require updated software and Apple is anticipated to announce it at its developer conference, WWDC, typically held in June. The new version of the visionOS operating system will also be announced at WWDC.

The Vision Pro viewer utilizes spatial computing technology and features a three-dimensional user interface that allows interaction with applications using hands, voice and eyes. It allows users to draw on applications like Freeform and Pixelmator with ease. With this new stylus addition to its lineup, Apple continues to push boundaries in consumer electronics innovation.
