Discover Your Future in Aviation at Pima Aviation Technology Program Career Fair

The aviation industry is facing a significant workforce shortage, with many employees retiring before and during COVID. According to faculty instructor Chris Barnett, the demand for skilled workers in the aviation industry is expected to continue for some time. To address this issue, Pima Community College’s Aviation Technology Program is hosting a career fair and open house on Tuesday, March 26th from 3 to 6 p.m.

The event will take place at the Aviation Technology Center near Valencia Rd. and Park Ave. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview with local and national aviation employers, interact with Pima’s instructors and students, and tour the hangar. This is an excellent chance for individuals interested in entering the aviation industry to gain valuable insights into the field and connect with potential employers.

If you have any story ideas or important issues to share about this event or the aviation industry in general, feel free to reach out to Austin “AJ” Janos, a producer for KGUN 9 who graduated from the University of Arizona in 2022 and worked at UATV3 during college. You can email AJ at aj.janos@kgun9.com for more information on this exciting event!
