NBC Chicago Seeks Suspects in Spate of Burglaries at North Side Restaurants

In recent weeks, a string of 12 restaurant burglaries has taken place in the Near North Side of Chicago. According to a statement from local police, the perpetrators are believed to be a group of one to three men, as well as a woman, who have been prying open patio doors and stealing cash registers and money from the restaurants.

The burglaries occurred between January 9th and February 6th, with the majority taking place in the morning. Four of the incidents took place on West Kinzie Street, while two occurred each on Orleans Street, Illinois Street, and Hubbard Street. Additionally, there was one burglary each on North State Street and West Hubbard Street.

Chicago police have issued a warning to businesses in the area after the series of burglaries. The suspects are described as being between 30 to 35 years old, standing at 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 160 to 170 pounds.
