Courtland Sutton announces his attendance at Broncos’ minicamp next week

Courtland Sutton has not participated in the voluntary portion of the Broncos’ offseason program, but he plans to attend next week’s mandatory minicamp. In an interview with DNVR Sports, Sutton confirmed his attendance and expressed his love for the game of football and his dedication to preparation and competition.

Sutton has been open about his desire for a reworked contract with a pay raise, opting to work out on his own in Florida rather than at the team’s training facility. He has two years left on the four-year, $60 million extension he signed in November 2021, with only $2 million of guaranteed money remaining out of the $27.6 million total. Despite Sutton’s request for a trade, and interest from other teams, the Broncos reportedly have no plans to trade him. Fines for missing the three days of minicamp are approximately $100,000.
