Nick Lodolo pitched a strong six innings, allowing only one run, while Tyler Stephenson hit a crucial two-run double to help the Reds secure their victory. The Cubs, on the other hand, have struggled recently and lost 11 of their last 15 games.

The Reds’ offense was boosted by Blake Dunn’s first major league hit in the fifth inning, which led to another run for the team. Despite a solo homer from Dansby Swanson in the sixth inning, Lodolo managed to keep the Cubs at bay and finished with seven strikeouts and four hits allowed.
