A dentist in Gaza treats patients in a tent after Israel destroys his clinic

Palestinian dentist Najdat Saqr, whose clinic in the Gaza Strip was destroyed by Israeli bombing, has set up a temporary clinic in a tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Despite the severe damage to his clinic, Saqr is determined to continue treating patients and has proudly displayed his vocational qualification certificates on the tent poles. He explains that he is running out of anesthesia and that endodontic treatment makes up the majority of his work.

Saqr dismantled a chair from his old clinic and transported equipment by tuk-tuk to set up the new temporary clinic. Although there is no electricity or water available, he is committed to serving his patients and continuing his work.
