Tigers’ 84 Reunion and Lions Players to Appear at Major Michigan Sports Convention

The Detroit Sports Spectacular is coming to Novi, Michigan this summer and promises to be an exciting event for sports fans of all ages. From Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9, the Suburban Collection Showplace will host this premier sports convention.

Admission and autograph tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 29, with prices starting at $15 for adults and $10 for ages 6-10. A weekend pass can also be purchased for $40. This event is a must-attend for sports enthusiasts who want to meet some of the greatest athletes in history.

One of the highlights of the event will be a reunion of the Detroit Tigers 1984 World Series championship team. Eleven players from the team have already been confirmed to attend, including legends like Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammell, and Jack Morris. Other baseball greats scheduled to appear include Howard Johnson, Darrell Evans, and Juan Berenguer.

Football fans will also have the opportunity to meet some of the sport’s icons, such as Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Billy Sims, and Andre Rison. Current NFL players like Kirk Cousins and Anthony Richardson will be in attendance as well as Detroit Lions players like Kerby Joseph and Donovan Peoples-Jones.

Hockey fans won’t be left out either as Hockey Hall of Famer Mike Modano is set to appear at the event. Fans can also meet members of the Michigan Wolverines 2023 National Championship team including Donovan Edwards
