Week 14 Weekly Awards for SEC Men’s Basketball

Collin Murray-Boyles, a 6-foot-7, 231-pound freshman from Columbia, S.C., has been named Freshman of the Week after averaging 23.5 points, eight rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in wins over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. In the win against Vanderbilt, he had a career-high 31 points on 14-of-17 (82.4 percent) shooting along with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block. He efficiently made 78.6 percent of his shots and connected on 80.0 percent of his shots from the charity stripe.

On the other hand, Tyrece Radford, a Texas A&M guard and a 6-foot-3, 190-pound graduate from Baton Rouge, La., was named Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in wins at Missouri and against No. 6 Tennessee. He averaged an impressive 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in those games. In the win against Tennessee, he scored an astounding 27 points on 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) shooting along with five rebounds and five assists
