Mason Striverson earns spot on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Sophomore guard Kynidi Mason Striverson has been recognized for her outstanding performance in both basketball and academics. After the completion of the 2023-24 women’s basketball season, Striverson was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators. She was the Aces’ second-leading scorer, averaging 11.5 points per game, and led the team in assists with 122 across 32 games.

Striverson is one of only three Evansville players who played in all 32 games and is the only player to start every single game. In addition to her impressive athletic achievements, she also maintains a remarkable 3.663 cumulative GPA as a business management major at University of Evansville. She has been recognized on the Dean’s List twice during her time at the university.

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have participated in at least 90% of their team’s games or started in at least 66% of their team’s games. Striverson’s accomplishments on and off the court showcase her dedication to excelling in all aspects of her collegiate career.
