Workshop on the Influence of Technology on Child Development and Mental Health to Be Hosted by Leading Experts

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) are hosting a workshop on April 4th and 5th. The workshop, which takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, will focus on the impact of technology and digital media on the development and mental well-being of children and adolescents.

Leading discussions at the workshop will be experts in technology, child development, and mental health who will explore both the positive and negative effects of technology on young minds. Attendees will have access to current research findings as well as an opportunity to discuss future directions in this field.

Sponsored by NIMH’s Division of Translational Research and NICHD, this free event is open to both the scientific community and the general public. To participate, registration is required prior to the workshop.
