Sun bounce back from first loss with victory over Fever, limiting Caitlin Clark to just 10 points

The Indiana Fever suffered a 89-72 defeat against the Connecticut Sun in their latest game. Despite initial excitement about their impressive performance in the previous match, where Caitlin Clark scored 30 points, the Fever struggled to replicate this success against Connecticut.

Clark finished with just 10 points on 3-for-8 shooting and left the game early after committing her fourth foul. Despite pleas from the crowd, she remained on the bench alongside other Fever starters. Meanwhile, DiJonai Carrington led the Sun with 22 points, while Alyssa Thomas secured 18 rebounds and seven assists. DeWanna Bonner added 17 points and moved into tenth place on the WNBA’s all-time three-pointer list.

The Fever’s Aliyah Boston contributed 14 points with 12 rebounds, while Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell both put up ten points each. With this loss, Indiana’s record stands at 3-10 for the season and 2-5 on the road. However, they will have a chance to bounce back when they host the Atlanta Dream next, while Connecticut will face off against Chicago Sky in their next game.
