Hakeem Butler Scheduled for Workout with Panthers

During the UFL playoff game between the San Antonio Brahmas and the St. Louis Battlehawks, coach Wade Phillips gave an endorsement to Battlehawks receiver Hakeem Butler. Phillips stated that Butler should be in the NFL, showing his confidence in the player’s skills.

Butler was awarded the UFL offensive player of the year honors after a successful season, making 45 receptions for 652 yards and five touchdowns. Despite being drafted by the Cardinals in 2019, Butler missed his entire rookie season with a broken hand and did not play a regular-season game for Arizona. He only played two regular-season games with the Eagles, where he did not catch a pass and had limited playing time.

Now, Butler has the opportunity to showcase his talents for the Carolina Panthers during his workout. This could be the chance he needs to prove himself in the NFL and potentially secure a spot on an NFL team roster. Phillips’ endorsement further solidifies the belief that Butler has the potential to succeed at the highest level of football.
