Germany’s School Dropout Rate ranks Fourth in the EU Again in 2022

Germany’s school dropout rate for 2022 was more than 12%, making it the fourth-highest in the European Union. Romania had the highest rate at 15.6%, followed by Spain at 13.9% and Hungary at 12.4%. Despite an improvement of 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous year, Germany’s dropout rate remains high compared to other EU countries.
