Health Fair at Wichita County

Karel Davis, a representative from the Wichita County Public Health, joined us in the studio today to discuss their upcoming Public Health Fair. The event, which will take place on April 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at 1700 3rd street, across from the waterfalls, is open to the public and completely free.

Davis explained that this year’s fair will feature over forty community partners with booths offering giveaways, education, and activities for all ages. Animal services will also be present to waive adoption fees and offer free microchipping for Wichita Falls residents.

The theme for this year’s fair is Super Heroes, Super Health, so everyone is encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero. In addition to the various organizations participating, there will be games, scavenger hunts, and other fun activities for attendees to enjoy.

Davis emphasized that this event is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to learn about health and wellness in a fun and interactive way. Whether you’re young or old, make sure to bring the whole family for a day of entertainment and education. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your health and well-being!
