New York Giants Unveil ‘Century Red’ Uniforms in Celebration of Team’s 100th Season

The New York Giants are celebrating their 100th season in the NFL with a special “Century Red” uniform that honors the team’s early years. The design of the uniform incorporates elements from different eras in the Giants’ history, including blue and white striped red socks from their inaugural 1925 season, red jerseys with blue accents from their 1933 championship-winning season, and a blue and red winged helmet to honor the 1938 title.

The “Century Red” uniform was the result of a two-year process that aimed to honor the players who laid the foundation of Giants football. According to Giants director of creative services Doug Murphy, “The Century Red uniform puts a modern twist on some of our earliest uniforms and is worn to honor the players who laid the foundation of Giants football.”

In addition to wearing special uniforms, the Giants will also wear a “100 Seasons” patch on their jerseys.
