Climate Minds Unite: A Collective Vision for the Intersection of Climate Change and Mental Health

A network of experts representing various global institutions has come together to focus on improving mental health and wellbeing. The Institute for Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London is one such institution, led by Emma L. Lawrance and Jessica Newberry Le Vay. They work alongside the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment, whose team includes Friederike Otto and Neil Jennings.

Mental Health Innovations in London is also represented by Emma L. Lawrance, while Wellcome in London is led by professionals including Alessandro Massazza and Rachel Hore. Mala Rao leads the Ethnicity and Health Unit at Imperial College London, as well as the School of Public Health at the same institution.

Imperial Projects at Imperial College London is represented by Darius Sakalauskas, while the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre has representation in Dublin, Ireland with Margot Curl, in Oxford, UK with Meghan Bailey, New York with [insert name], Cape Town with [insert name], and Copenhagen with [insert name].

Other global institutions represented in this network include Planetary and Global Health Program at St Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. The Climate Mental Health Network is also represented by professionals in Washington DC.
