At a recent meeting held at the Ministry of Masaf, Patrizio La Pietra announced the establishment of a coordination table for work in agriculture. The table will bring together representatives from ministries, unions, and organizations to discuss labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification.
La Pietra emphasized that the government is committed to supporting the agricultural sector and will defend it with the same conviction. A new policy for community agricultural projects is being considered that will directly impact the agricultural world and its businesses.
The majority of farmers are set to benefit from new policies that are soon to be introduced by the government. New discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains where the first support interventions will be allocated. Additionally, a revision to the insurance system is underway to reduce insurance costs for farmers and expand coverage for catastrophic risks.
