Grande Jr. Pizza Express shutting down its doors after successful six-year run

Pizza lovers in Washington County are saying goodbye to a beloved pizzeria. Grande Jr. Pizza Express, which has been serving up delicious pies for six years, is closing its doors. The shop, located along Racetrack Road near the Meadows Casino, made the announcement this week.

The shop’s owners thanked all of their customers for supporting them throughout their time in business. Earlier this year, Grande Jr. Pizza Express was named the best pizza in Pittsburgh by 100.7 Star and a panel of local judges. The pizza they served during the contest was a Detroit-style pizza.

As they prepare to close, Grande Jr. Pizza Express is keeping pizza on hand for as long as possible ahead of their final day on Saturday. However, as items run out this week, they will be removed from the menu.
