Spring sports activities in Lenawee County are in full swing

The spring sports season is underway in Lenawee County for high school teams. On Monday, girls soccer matches took place as Clinton defeated Tecumseh 8-2. Aubrey Lauer scored an impressive six goals for Clinton, with Anna Schaffner adding two more goals and two assists. Kaylee Raiser contributed two assists to Clinton’s win. Meanwhile, Tecumseh’s Shaylinn Drouillard scored both of her team’s goals in the match.

In a lacrosse game on Tuesday, Monroe bested Blissfield 7-2. Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each scored a goal and added an assist for Tecumseh, while Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also netted a goal each in the game. The visiting team from Ohio proved to be a tough opponent for Tecumseh.
