Bango honors champions of Racine Elementary School’s Fresh Air Science Fair

The Fresh Air Science Fair, which took place at Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine, saw fifth-grade students recognized for their participation in the event that lasted almost two months. Beginning on February 1st, students formed teams and submitted projects that brought concepts about clean air pollution to life.

The award assembly took place on Wednesday, March 27th, with attendees including Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and the trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers. During the assembly, winners were announced and prizes were awarded. First-place team members received three tickets to the April 10th Bucks game against the Orlando Magic, along with transportation to and from the game and concession stand vouchers to use at Fiserv Forum during the game. Second and third-place teams received Bucks merchandise as their prizes.

The Fresh Air Science Fair was made possible through a partnership between Modine, the Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and United Way of Racine County. Congratulations to all of the winners of this innovative science fair!
