Iowa High School Sports Awards to Feature Speech by Hannah Stuelke

The Iowa High School Sports Awards, hosted by SCHEELS, has announced Hannah Stuelke as the keynote speaker for its 2024 event. Stuelke, a standout player for the Iowa women’s basketball team and a native of Cedar Rapids Washington High School, will be honored at the event along with other athletes, coaches, and teams from across the state.

Stuelke made a name for herself in high school as a basketball star, setting numerous school records and earning multiple all-state selections. She was also named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year and Miss Iowa Basketball during her senior year. In addition to her on-court success, Stuelke excelled academically, winning awards in math, science, and foreign languages.

Since moving on to play for the University of Iowa, Stuelke has continued to impress. As a freshman, she led all freshmen in minutes played and was named the Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year. In her sophomore season, she scored 47 points in a single game
