News Alert: Jets Set to Play Six Primetime Games

For the second year in a row, the Jets are set to kick off their season on Monday night. The NFL has announced that they will face off against the 49ers in Week One, with a home game against the Patriots on Thursday night in Week Three. They’ll host the Bills on Monday night in Week Five, travel to Pittsburgh for Sunday Night Football in Week Six, host the Texans on a Thursday in Week Nine, and host the Colts on a Sunday night in Week 11. Additionally, they will have another standalone game in London against the Vikings.

Last year, the Jets were scheduled for five primetime games and the NFL’s first Black Friday game, but due to Aaron Rodgers injury, results were not as positive as hoped. This time around, all parties involved will be hoping for better outcomes. Teams are typically scheduled for a maximum of six primetime games before the season begins with possibility of being flexed into more games later on.
