Oregon Arcade Retains Title as ‘World’s Favorite Pinball Location’ for Third Consecutive Year

The Next Level Pinball Museum in Hillsboro is a must-visit destination for pinball and arcade enthusiasts. With over 400 machines in its collection, the museum has won the “World’s Favorite Pinball Location” at the 2023 TWIPY Awards for the third consecutive year. Located at 1458 N.E. 25th Ave. in Hillsboro, the museum originally opened in 2017 with just 100 games in a 10,000 square foot warehouse. Since then, it has grown to over 240 pinball machines and 250 arcade games in a 20,000 square foot space, with plans for expansion on the horizon to add another 150 games and an additional 7,000 square feet.

One of the things that sets Next Level Pinball Museum apart from other locations is its unique payment model of free play. Visitors can purchase a day pass for $22, which gives them unlimited access to all the games without the need for coins or swipe cards. The museum also stands out with its thousands of pieces of pop culture memorabilia and collectibles, including movie posters, life-size superhero statues, and what is believed to be the world’s largest collection of lunch boxes.

The owner of Next Level Pinball Museum, Whitney Carlson, expressed her gratitude for the award and stated that it inspires her team to continue improving the museum for its visitors. With so much to see and do at Next Level Pinball Museum, it’s no wonder that it has been named one of Portland’s top pinball locations three years running. So if you’re a fan of pinball or just looking for a fun day out, be sure to check out this amazing destination!
