Arch Manning from Texas chooses not to participate in EA Sports College Football 25

Texas quarterback Arch Manning has decided not to participate in EA Sports College Football 25, according to Orange Bloods’ Anwar Richardson. This choice allows him to prioritize his focus on football on the field rather than in the game. The highly anticipated game is set to release this summer and will feature all 134 FBS teams. Over 10,000 athletes have already opted in to be featured in the game, receiving a minimum of $600 and a free copy of the game.

On the other hand, Texas’ 2023 starting quarterback, Quinn Ewers, has already opted into EA College Sports 25 and will be a playable character in the game. Ewers had an impressive season last year with 3,479 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, leading Texas to a College Football Playoff appearance. This will come as good news for Longhorn fans who will get the chance to use Ewers in the game.

Manning was once considered one of the top prospects in his class but had limited playing time during his freshman season at Texas. He completed only two passes for 30 yards while serving as backup to Ewers. By choosing to focus on his development rather than his virtual representation in EA Sports College Football 25, Manning may be setting himself up for success in the long run as he competes for a starting spot during the upcoming offseason against tough competition from Ewers.
