Boosting Our Economy: The Impact of Local Dive Retail on Driving Growth

Local Dive Retail, a unique retail store located on Cherokee Boulevard in Chattanooga, offers an extensive collection of mid-century furniture, retro housewares, clothes, shoes, and handmade items. Andie Bost, one of the owners, mentioned that all items are one-of-a-kind, affordable and do not collect dust in the store. They rent vendor booths to individuals who come in and set up their items for sale. The customization includes framing, lighting and everything is available for purchase.

Jack Tatum, another owner of the store, stated that they have independent vendors selling clothes and restock new items every couple of months to keep customers engaged. This setup allows them to generate passive income while people shop in the store. Seeing customers delighted by the products brings joy to the owners.

Local Dive Retail is part of the Northshore vintage market which includes 25 vendors, food trucks, bands, a warehouse DJ and a group of vendors coming together on the last Saturday of every month. The store is conveniently located at 607 Cherokee Boulevard right behind the old Ziggy’s Bar. Their business hours are from 10 a.m to 6 p.m on Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m to 5 p.m on Saturday and Sunday with Wednesday being closed
