Caleb Farley acknowledges Chidobe Awuzie’s role in his mental growth

Tennessee Titans 2021 first-round pick and cornerback, Caleb Farley, has faced numerous challenges in his NFL career. From off-the-field tragedy to injuries and disappointing play, Farley has had a tough road. However, this year brings new hope for Farley as he is finally healthy and able to participate fully in practice after missing all of last season due to a back issue.

Despite his struggles, Farley has found support from his teammates, with fellow cornerback Chidobe Awuzie playing a significant role in encouraging him and helping him overcome mental barriers. “I really truly believed I would never play football again,” Farley said, expressing his gratitude for being able to be back on the field.

Now that he is healthy, Farley is focused on earning a roster spot and establishing himself as the first cornerback off the bench for the Titans. He is also looking to contribute on special teams. Despite the challenges he has faced, Farley’s positive attitude and determination have endeared him to those around him, with many rooting for him to succeed and revive his career in 2024.
