Top Duke recruiting target receives offer from UNC basketball program

Nate Ament, a power forward from Warrenton, Virginia, has recently received an offer to join the UNC basketball program. This offer comes after the UNC coaching staff was impressed with his performance during an AAU event. Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 170 pounds, Ament is ranked No. 13 nationally and considered the No. 5 power forward in the 2025 recruiting class.

Ament has already received offers from multiple schools including Duke, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Despite not yet committing to any school in this class, there is still plenty of time for the UNC coaching staff to secure commitments. With Ament being the 14th player to receive an offer in this class, the program is actively building its recruiting class for the future.

The impressive ranking and skill set of Ament make him a top target for the Tar Heels as they look to strengthen their team for upcoming seasons. Be sure to follow @TarHeelsWire on Twitter and like our Facebook page for more updates on UNC basketball news and recruiting efforts.
