Queen Camilla is set to launch her first podcast for The Queen’s Reading Room, a charity that was formed from her book club. The charity’s main goal is to promote reading and literature and to donate books to various organizations and institutions. During an appearance at a Salisbury Cathedral concert, Camilla spoke out on King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis for the first time. She said her husband is doing “extremely well under the circumstances” and has been “very touched by all of the letters and messages the public” has been sending. The concert was Camilla’s first public engagement since news of Charles’ cancer diagnosis. Buckingham Palace announced Monday that Charles has been diagnosed with cancer, though they declined to specify what type of cancer he has. Camilla spoke about the king’s condition at a private hospital last week, saying that he was doing well after undergoing a corrective procedure. The palace issued a statement thanking the king’s doctors for their work.
