CorSport: Moncada Urging Milan to Pursue Rabiot, Juventus Midfielder

AC Milan is considering adding Adrien Rabiot to their midfield, despite his high demands. The club has made an enquiry with Rabiot’s entourage since his contract with Juventus is ending and they are in need of another midfielder. Corriere dello Sport has also confirmed this news, with their front page headline stating that Rabiot is tempting Milan away from Juventus.

The Frenchman is available on a free transfer and Milan is considering meeting his wage demands. However, Rabiot’s minimum wage demand of €7.5m net per season is beyond what Milan is willing to pay. Juventus has offered a three-year contract renewal at €7m net per season, putting Milan in a tough position to compete.

To match or exceed Juventus’ offer, Milan could consider using bonuses or offering a longer contract to Rabiot. Geoffrey Moncada, who knows Rabiot well, was the one to initiate the talks with the player’s management, spearheaded by his mother Veronique. However, there is competition from Premier League clubs who are also interested in signing the midfielder. Despite the financial constraints, Milan remains cautious but hopeful about the prospect of securing Rabiot for their squad.
