Kyle Hamilton undergoes elbow procedure, expected to return for camp

Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton is taking time off to recover from a surgical procedure before the team heads to training camp. Head coach John Harbaugh announced that Hamilton will not be participating in this week’s mandatory minicamp due to an elbow issue that required medical intervention. Harbaugh reassured that the team expects Hamilton to be fully recovered and ready to go for the start of camp.

Hamilton had an impressive season in 2023, earning first-team All-Pro honors after a standout performance. He recorded 81 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four interceptions, three sacks, and a forced fumble while helping lead the team to an AFC North championship. The Ravens will undoubtedly miss his presence during minicamp, but they are hopeful that he will make a full recovery and be back in action soon.

Harbaugh provided some details about Hamilton’s surgery, mentioning that he had some loose bodies in his elbow that needed to be removed. The procedure is expected to take two to three weeks for Hamilton to fully recover. Despite the setback, Harbaugh expressed confidence that Hamilton will be ready to return to the field in time for training camp.
