Michael Penix makes cameo in Tuscaloosa, assists Kalen DeBoer in recruiting efforts

Michael Penix had an impressive college football career that culminated in an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship as the quarterback for Kalen DeBoer and the Washington Huskies. After being drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons, Penix is well on his way to becoming a future star in the NFL.

Throughout his three seasons playing under DeBoer, Penix spent one year with the Indiana Hoosiers before transferring to Washington for the next two years. Recently, a photo surfaced on social media showing Penix visiting the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, where DeBoer is now coaching.

Despite never having played for Alabama, Penix’s visit demonstrates his loyalty to DeBoer by helping out on a busy recruiting weekend. Roll Tide Wire will continue to provide coverage of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team as they prepare for the 2024 season.
