Repubblica reports: Milan outbids Juventus in salary offer to Rabiot – a developing situation

AC Milan is determined to sign Adrien Rabiot and has surpassed Juventus’ salary offer to him, according to a report from La Repubblica. The Rossoneri are eager to secure Rabiot’s signature as a welcome gift for incoming head coach Paulo Fonseca. Milan has offered more in terms of salary than Juventus, hoping to convince Rabiot to join their ranks.

Milan made an enquiry with Rabbit’s entourage as his contract with Juventus is set to expire, and they are looking to add depth to their midfield. With the deal for Joshua Zirzkee nearing completion, Milan will soon shift their focus to securing a midfield signing to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

While Juventus have made an offer of €7m net per season to Rabiot in an attempt to keep him at the club, Milan’s bid of €7.5m net is more appealing to the French midfielder. Rabbit is also being courted by clubs in the Premier League, where high wages are not an issue. It remains to be seen where Rabbit will choose to continue his career, but Milan’s attractive offer certainly puts them in a strong position to secure his services.
