Shannon Sullivan Hudson: Outstanding Science Teacher Recognized by National Science Teaching Association

Shannon Sullivan Hudson, a science teacher at Crawfordsville Middle School, was recently recognized by the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) for outstanding achievements in science education. The NSTA awards program honors K-12 teachers, principals, professors, and other science education professionals for their contributions to the field.

During a special evening Teacher Awards event at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Denver, Colorado on March 22nd, awards were presented to Shannon Sullivan Hudson and other exceptional educators. NSTA President Julie A. Luft expressed her excitement about recognizing these talented individuals who are dedicated to inspiring future generations of scientists and engineers.

Luft stated that she finds the group of awardees to be inspiring as they are committed to ensuring that students receive a diverse, talented and knowledgeable education that will prepare them for success in the 21st century workforce.
