Strong Bonds: Connecting through Sports to Forge a Protected Cyber Environment

The initiative brought together young people from urban communities and individuals with disabilities in various regions of France. In seven locations, including two French overseas departments and five mainland cities, participants engaged in special sports workshops. The workshops were organized and run by over 200 Orange volunteer employees, partnered with amateur football and rugby clubs, as well as disabled sports associations.

The goal was to provide a platform where diversity is embraced, and sports serve as a means of fostering unity and solidarity among participants. Through this initiative, young people had the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and form bonds with others in their communities. The workshops also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of inclusivity in sports and highlight the value of diversity in enhancing the overall experience for all participants.

In each workshop, participants had the opportunity to engage in different sports activities, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction. By bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and abilities, the initiative demonstrated the power of sports in breaking down barriers and fostering a sense of belonging and togetherness.
