SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon has received a generous donation of $60,000 from the hospital’s auxiliary, which has allowed them to purchase two state-of-the-art medical ventilators. The new ventilators will provide life-saving breathing support for critically ill patients, including infants, children, and adults.
The Respiratory Care Manager, Trisha Barczewski, expressed her gratitude for the hard work of the Auxiliary in raising the funds for the new equipment. She emphasized that the new ventilators will enable highly skilled Pulmonologists, Critical Care physicians, and Respiratory Therapists to provide the most advanced ventilator support to patients in need.
These state-of-the-art ventilators enhance the advanced technology available at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital, enabling the team members to deliver advanced care to even the most critically ill patients. The donation from the Auxiliary further demonstrates their unwavering support of the Mission of SSM Health.
