Police arrest former juvenile business employee after allegedly being found with gun in lap in drive-thru

A former employee of a business in the 1200 block of West Garfield, who had previously threatened the business and was found with a gun in her lap, was arrested by Bartonville Police. The arrest took place after officers were called to the business and later found the vehicle in the parking lot of Limestone High School tennis courts.

Following a high-risk traffic stop on Airport Road, all three individuals in the vehicle were detained and interviewed. The authorities assured the public that this incident was isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to Limestone High School. Due to all involved being juveniles, further information will not be disclosed.

Police acknowledge that situations like this can be concerning to students, parents, and staff but emphasize that the incident was contained and there is no current danger.
