Students from Thomas College received awards at a business conference.

Five Thomas College students recently excelled in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference held in Orlando, Florida. The group of talented students included Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody, and Addison Landon.

The team from Thomas College made a strong showing at the conference, achieving top rankings in various categories. They placed second overall and third in the case study presentation. Three students – Preston Moody, Jade Crowell, and Addison Landon – advanced to the finals of the Knowledge Bowl. Landon was an outstanding performer, finishing in second place in this competition. Additionally, he was recognized as the top individual student performer at the conference.

Dr. Rick Saucier and Dr. Jono Anzalone coached the team of Thomas College students during their impressive performance at SAM. According to Dr. Saucier, representatives from SAM were highly impressed with the exceptional performance of Thomas College’s participants. This recognition is a testament to Thomas College’s growing reputation as a leading institution in business management academic circles. It marks the seventh consecutive year that Thomas College students have achieved success in SAM competition events like these.
