Thornton police seek public assistance in identifying arson suspect responsible for fires near Colorado businesses

The Thornton Police Department is currently on the lookout for an arson suspect responsible for two fires that occurred near businesses on June 3. Both fires broke out around 6 p.m. on that day and were located behind the businesses located at 3901 E. 112th Avenue. Firefighters from the Thornton Fire Department responded to the scenes and managed to extinguish the flames.

According to authorities, both fires were deliberately set by a male suspect. Surveillance footage has been reviewed, which has helped identify the suspect. Local businesses in the area have reported sightings of the man frequently walking in the vicinity.
