Texas A&M Programs Rank in Top 10 for Online Education by U.S. News & World Report

In the 2024 Best Online Programs ranking, Texas A&M University has been recognized as one of the top universities in the nation for its online programs. Three of the university’s programs are in the nation’s Top 10, and nine are in the Top 20, with nine programs leading the state. The School of Nursing’s overall bachelor’s program is ranked No. 7, the best in Texas, while the Mays Business School’s master’s in business program (excluding MBA) is ranked No. 14, the second best in Texas.

General (Ret.) Mark A. Welsh III, president of Texas A&M University, emphasized the university’s commitment to bringing higher education opportunities to students through online education. He acknowledged the efforts of faculty and staff responsible for these programs, as well as the online students, who may never set foot on campus until commencement but are Aggies nonetheless. The rankings were determined using methodologies that take into account factors such as engagement, service and technologies, faculty credentials and training, and peer assessment.

The College of Engineering’s overall master’s program is ranked No. 14, also among the best in Texas. The School of Education and Human Development’s overall master’s for veterans program is ranked No. 3 and its master’s in curriculum and instruction is ranked No. 8 both are considered among the best in Texas as well .
