47-Year-Old Stunt Double for Chris Pratt

Antonio Gerard McFarr, known for his work as a stunt double in numerous films and TV shows, passed away at the age of 47. His mother confirmed the news to TMZ, stating that he died at his home outside of Orlando, Florida. The cause of death has not been disclosed, but his death was reported on the website of the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Merritt Island, Florida.

Throughout his career, McFarr performed stunts in blockbuster films and TV shows starting in the early 2010s. He began as Chris Pratt’s double in “Jurassic World” (2015) and continued on with “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” (2017) and “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” (2018). He also worked on “Passengers” (2016), showcasing his talent as a stunt performer.

In addition to his work with Pratt, McFarr had various stunt credits in Marvel movies such as “Captain America: Civil War,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” among others.
