Israel releases recordings of UNRWA teachers reportedly involved in October 7 assault

On Monday, the Israeli Armed Forces released audio recordings that purportedly show UNRWA workers involved in attacks by Palestinian militias on Israeli territory on October 7. The Israeli Army spokesperson highlighted that over 450 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists worked for UNRWA in the Gaza Strip.

The incident has led to controversy and calls for reform within the international organization. UNRWA employs over 30,000 people in various locations, and 13,000 are based in the Gaza Strip.
