A man has been arrested after a vandal went on a rampage, targeting cars and shops in Long Beach. Over 25 cars and seven businesses were impacted by this crime in the East Village, as reported by the Long Beach Police Department. The incident involved smashed windows in both businesses and vehicles.

According to a building manager, surveillance footage from an apartment complex recorded a man damaging the property. The manager stated that incidents like this one have been happening for the past three years.

Joe Harding, another building manager in Long Beach, expressed that broken windows and temporary business closures have become common occurrences. Many individuals who park their cars on the street worry about becoming victims and frequently ask about surveillance footage to assist their insurance claims.

The Long Beach Police Department confirmed that an arrest had been made in connection to the vandalism but did not disclose the suspect’s name or the charges they may face.
